A year on from the first ever #TradesTalk Live, the event is returning to Toolfair and Elex in Coventry in September with another fantastic panel of speakers. This time, the topic is women in the trades, and the panel includes Hattie Hasan (plumber and founder of Stopcocks), Katie Smith (award-winning bricklayer at Jericho Brickworks), Natasha Clark-Withers (gas engineer and owner of Get Her Trade) and Karen Boom (electrician and owner of She’s Electric).
The four women will be talking about why working in the trades is such a great career option for women and how to overcome any barriers there might be. Sections of the chat will be streamed live on social media, and the highlights will be recorded for anyone who can’t make it along on the day.
