ACO Building Drainage has launched a new shower drain range bringing together shower drainage channels, advanced gully solutions, and fully configurable modular options. The company says the modular system is designed for flexible, long run commercial and leisure applications.
At the heart of the line-up is the Modular 125 system — configurable channels that can be linked into continuous runs for communal showers or leisure centre changing areas. Custom corner and gully arrangements are available to accommodate complex or irregular layouts.
ACO’s new range includes low-build height solutions that comply with BS EN 1253-1 for constrained floor heights. The company says ShowerDrain C’s new hydro-formed gullies enable higher flows and easier cleaning. Also available in the range are ShowerDrain B and ShowerDrain E which have a gully body capable of 360° rotation for tight or irregular spaces.
Erik Mul, Product Manager at ACO Building Drainage, said: “The range gives specifiers and installers more options to suit their application, easier maintenance access and consistent performance on both tiled and flexible floors whether the installation is in a domestic bathroom, a hotel, a care home or a busy swimming pool changing area. Our new shower range provides solutions that avoid the usual trade-offs between aesthetics, hygiene and flow rates.”
The company says that for smaller or retrofit projects with limited build height, ACO ShowerDrain B and E channels offer low-profile or rotating-gully options that reduce on-site adjustments and help with improving speed of installation.
Erik added: “Our new range highlights maintenance-friendly, easy clean features such as removable traps and accessible grates to mitigate hygiene and safety risks posed by inaccessible gullies and poor outlet design.
“The new shower drains portfolio gives specifiers, installers and bathroom merchant teams configurable, durable options that improve hygiene and lower whole‑life risk.”
