The REMS ThermoCam makes heat easily visible via its infra-red optics with a high-resolution detector and 8x digital zoom. The hand-held camera features a pistol grip design for ease of use and weighs 600g, making it suited to one-handed operation. The unit features a 3.5″ TFT-LCD colour display with touch function and includes an alignment laser and LED lamp for illumination under poor lighting conditions.
The camera includes an integrated microphone and an integrated loudspeaker for audio recording and playback, while a hinged protective cover allows for mechanical protection of the LED lamp, the alignment laser as well as the optical and thermal lenses. The temperature range of the REMS ThermoCam is -20–550°C and it has an IP54 rating. The professional tool features a variety of temperature analysis tools and can deliver information in a number of views including: fusion image, image-in-image, superposed image or visual image.
The camera includes a MicroSD card slot, a USB-C port and there is a protective cap covering the connections. There is also a connecting thread UNC ¼ for conventional camera stands.
The REMS ThermoCam has a Li Ion 3.7V battery with 5.0Ah capacity, designed for long service life. It comes in a sturdy case and includes a rapid charger and USB cable.
