Wirquin staff will take part in Doncaster business’s Charity Dragon Boat Race on 11 July. The leading sanitary equipment specialist is entering ‘Team Wirquin Together’ to compete against other local businesses and raise money for a local cancer charity.
The 11 crew members working in Operations, Sales, and Marketing, are already in training under their Captain, Nick Richards, new Head of Marketing, and Drummer, Gwenhael Le Coent, Managing Director. Colleagues are generously sponsoring them to help raise money for the Aurora charity to support local people affected by cancer.
Says Gwenhael Le Coent, Wirquin Managing Director: “This is a fun event to raise some serious funds for a local charity and to get involved with local businesses. Lots of Wirquin staff will be supporting the event by donating funds and cheering their colleagues on during the race.”
