The Industrial and Commercial Heating Equipment Association (ICOM) and Manufacturers of Equipment for Heat Networks Association (MEHNA) have announced the appointment of a new chair for their Water Treatment Group. Ian Roberts, Managing Director for ADEY Commercial, takes up the position from January 2025.
Commenting on his appointment, Ian Roberts said: “With the current acceleration of change in our industry, I’m genuinely excited to be taking up this post. New and alternative heating technologies are being adopted rapidly, and they all have one shared requirement: to have easy-to-administer and proven water treatment measures that ensure closed loop systems remain efficient and reliable. I’m very much looking forward to representing MEHNA and ICOM to keep this topic at the top of the agenda in our industry.”
Steve McConnell, Director of ICOM, added: “Ian has extensive knowledge around the importance of water treatment and will be a great advocate for the Group, which is a joint venture between ICOM and MEHNA.”
