Installers donate Baxi Bonanza prizes to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital

After winning a prize haul at a recent Big Baxi Bonanza live gameshow held in Rainhill, Merseyside, two generous installers – Neil Carpenter and Graham Porter – donated two Xbox One S consoles to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

A cause close to the heart of area sales manager Daniel Kinsella, he had the honour of presenting the consoles, alongside Martin Cuthbert, to Cath Harding from the fundraising team at Alder Hey. Delighted with the donation, one console is destined for the family bereavement centre, with the second due to be entered as a raffle prize to raise vital funds for the hospital.

Daniel is committed to raising funds for the hospital following his daughter’s diagnosis with Atrial Septal Defect at the age of three. Following six hours of open-heart surgery and throughout her rehabilitation, the hospital supported all of his family. His daughter is now 13 and he is determined to give something back. In October 2020, both Daniel and Martin will climb Annapurna Massif in Nepal with an ambition to raise £7,500 for the hospital.
