The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) has teamed up with Baxi to host a series of free technical workshops to be held at various locations across England and Wales.
The workshops will be geared towards the interests of plumbing and heating contractors and due to differences in legislative developments there will be slightly different agendas for England and Wales.
English Technical Workshops
Topic 1 – Building Regulations Part L “The Future of Heat: Domestic Buildings”
Hear direct from industry experts by attending this free workshop about significant changes due to be implemented later this year with regards to an increase in minimum efficiency of new boilers so you can be sure that you are continuing to meet the requirements of Part L, Building Regulations (England).
Topic 2 – Apprenticeship & Qualification Updates
We are at an important time in the development of qualifications and apprenticeships. Employers from previous workshops have provided important views on content and structure. However, we are now looking at the implementation and delivery and again it is vital that we can get your opinions during this workshop.

Topic 1 – Advanced Heating Controls
2016 saw significant growth in consumer awareness and demand for advanced heating controls. Hear direct in this workshop from industry experts on the latest developments and opportunities.
Topic 2 – Qualification Update
Qualification Wales, the regulator of non-degree qualifications in Wales, is carrying out a fundamental review around vocational qualifications and how they are offered in Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for employers so why not come along and have your say at this free workshop to help shape the future for vocational qualifications in Wales.
