LG Electronics extends Heat Pump Portfolio

LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled a new lineup of Monobloc units. The extended portfolio introduces the larger capacity 12, 14, and 16kW models, to the R290 Monobloc S range, which launched in early 2026 with 5, 7, and 9kW models.

LG has also launched the new R290 Monobloc (standard) with indoor unit, available from 5 to 16kW.

Both the control and indoor units are designed for customer ease of use, equipped with a 6.8-inch full-colour touchscreen, HMI controller, and built-in Wi-Fi function.

Capable of heating water up to 75°C, even while outdoor temperatures hit as low as -25°C, the company says the R290 Monobloc Series enables efficient heating and cooling, even in extreme weather.

“Whether undertaking a retrofit or installing an efficient heating and cooling system in a new-build home, our wide portfolio of Monobloc heat pumps provides a comfortable environment while reducing energy bills and supporting climate objectives. With ease of installation and maintenance built-in, users benefit from our innovative design across the full product lifecycle,” said Sachin Vibhute, HVAC and heat pumps technical consultant at LG.
