With the heating season approaching, Talon is calling on plumbers and heating engineers to top up with five of its ‘hero’ products.
The Talon Hinged Clip offers a 360° fixing for pipework, manufactured in the UK from polypropylene. Suitable for both internal and external installations, the clip is UV stabilised so it won’t discolour and won’t warp or distort with changes in temperature. Clips can be connected together via a dovetail to allow equal pipe spacing across multiple parallel runs. Spacers are also available so insulation can still be fitted around pipework.
The Talon Identification Hinged Clip range allows installers to mark exactly what’s running through a pipe. Available in red, blue, yellow, black and brown, the clips add an extra layer of health and safety to any install and help limit confusion on site.
The Talon Nail-in Clip is manufactured from high density polyethylene, it has a zinc plated, hardened and tempered nail suitable for drywall, wood, brick and concrete. As with the Hinged Clip, it’s also available in red, blue, grey and black for easy identification.
PipeSnug provides a quick, all-in-one way to seal around pipework internally and externally, helping meet Part L of the Building Regulations without the need for sealant, mortar or air sealing tape. FlueSnug offers the same solution for boiler flues, creating a neat, airtight finish, while the FS5 is an airtight all-in-one seal for boiler flues, fitting into an existing 127mm/5″ boiler flue hole.
Snappit is a mess-free alternative to painting to cover copper pipework, Made from uPVC and UV stabilised against discolouration, chipping and flaking, Snappit covers are available in 15mm and 22mm, alongside Towel Rail Kits in grey, black, chrome and white and Radiator Tail Kits which come in all the same colours plus rose gold.
Talon Pipe Collars conceal incisions through floors and walls on new and retrofit installations alike. Manufactured from polypropylene with a simple click-together system, the collars fit pipe from 8mm up to 110mm and are available in white, chrome effect, black and grey, including a dedicated 110mm collar for soil and vent pipes.
