HIP Learner of the Year 2024 Grand Final  

The Grand Final of the HIP Learner of the Year 2024 kicks off this week. The event is set to take place across two days, on the 11th and 12th of April, at the JTL Birmingham Training Centre. 

The regional heats took place across January and February, with Level 2 and 3 plumbing learners competing across six regional locations in England and Wales. The following regional winners have been announced as this year’s HIP Learner of the Year Finalists: 

– Jacob Culver, Yeovil College
– Joshua Cole, Coleg y Cymoedd
– Zak Rowan, Grimsby Institute
– Cole Hull, Cheshire College South & West
– Daisy Turner, Barking and Dagenham College
– Nathan Knowles, Rotherham College, RCC Group
– Jay Brewster, City College Norwich 

The competition’s sponsors include Viessmann, Wolseley Plumb Centre, Milwaukee, Aalberts IPS, Kingspan, Polypipe Underfloor Heating, Stelrad, Triton, WaterSafe, Wilo, Snickers Workwear, Talon, The Worshipful Company of Plumbers, Yorkshire Copper Tube, FIX Radio and the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE). 

Zoe Tanner, Managing Director at HIP, said: “All the competitors should be immensely proud of themselves for taking part and competing. The standard of work has been incredible, and we can’t wait to see who will be crowned the 2024 HIP Learner of the Year.”
