PHPI discovers more about Flair Showers recently launched Verve PRO collection of shower doors – including how to fit them. 

Flair Showers new collection of shower doors, Verve PRO, boast a number of components designed to ensure installation is easy and safe for trade professionals. Showcased in the UK for the first time at InstallerSHOW 2024, Verve PRO shower doors are a key range in the new Flair PRO Essential Collections. 

Verve PRO is a collection of 1900mm high shower doors, constructed with 6mm thick Clearvue glass with what the company describes as a fresh, contemporary look and feel. Clearvue is a hydrophobic protective coating that resists the build-up of limescale and grime on the surface. 

The new range consists of corner entry structures and quadrants in addition to sliding, bi-fold and pivot doors, which are available in Black or Silver finishes.

Flair Showers runs through the process of installing its Verve PRO Sliding Door. [Always follow full manufacturer’s instructions]

1. Prepare & Position the Wall Profiles
– Measure 10mm from the edge of the shower tray and mark the positioning.
– Mark the drill hole positions on the wall, ensuring the wall profiles are 100% straight and plumb.
– Drill holes using a 6mm drill bit and insert wall plugs.
– Secure the wall profiles into place with the provided screws. 

2. ClickFit Pro –Frame Screw Free Assembly System 
– Align the bottom horizontal profile in between the wall profiles.
– Slide the pre-assembled ClickFit Pro bracket on fixed panel and receiving post onto the bottom profile’s pre-assembled snap hooks until they securely lock into the access port staying     inside the wall profiles.
– Then slide the pre-assembled ClickFit Pro hooks of your top horizontal profile onto the vertical profiles until the snap hooks securely locks into the access port.
– This innovative system eliminates the need for screws on your frame, providing a quick and effortless installation while ensuring a secure and seamless fit. 

3. Check Alignment
– Check alignment and fit the screws provided securing the vertical profiles to the wall profiles then cover them with the screw cover caps provided.

4. Install the Sliding Door & Rollers
– Attach the top and bottom rollers to the glass sliding door.
– Carefully place the door onto the top profile, ensuring smooth movement.
-Push the bottom wheels into the lower profile track to secure the door.

5. Final Assembly & Adjustments
– Install the handle onto the glass door.
– Attach the seal strips to both the fixed panel and the sliding door glass.
– Check alignment and fit the screws provided securing the vertical profiles to the wall profiles then cover them with the screw cover caps provided.
– Use the wheel adjustment mechanism in the top rollers to ensure a smooth roll when opening and closing the door.
– Attach all remaining top cover caps to the wall and vertical profiles.
– Apply silicone sealant outside of the enclosure as per the fitting instructions for a watertight seal.
– Wait 24 hours before using the shower to allow the silicone to fully cure.
