Werner enhances Telescopic Tower safety with design updates

Werner has announced the launch of a re-engineered Telescopic Tower.

The company says the upgraded design offers greater versatility and now features integrated rung bumpers, helping to prevent fingers from becoming trapped during assembly and adjustment.

Dave Elson, Werner’s Compliance Manager, said: “As a business, we continually review our products to identify opportunities for improvement. The Werner Telescopic Tower is a popular choice among trade professionals, and these latest refinements make it even safer and easier to use.

“The integrated rung bumpers create additional spacing between the rungs, helping to reduce the risk of pinched fingers during set-up. While seemingly minor, finger injuries can be painful and disruptive, so this enhancement provides an important additional safety benefit.

“The tower can be erected by one person in as little as three minutes and is available in five platform heights: 1.1m, 1.3m, 1.55m, 1.75m and 2.0m. Designed for quick and simple assembly, it can be adjusted to provide a working height of up to four metres.

“Portability is another major advantage. The tower folds down into a compact size, making it easy to transport and store, even in smaller vans.”
