Advance Appliances, Walsall based specialist in hot water storage systems, has reached a milestone this year as it celebrates twenty years of trading. In addition, the company has successfully completed a major strategic expansion. The company is now at the forefront of producing fully recyclable hot water store tanks that combine sustainability with cutting edge technology, the ECO Range
The company says the range reduces environmental impact while enhancing efficiency, design flexibility, and compatibility with renewable technologies such as solar and heat pumps.
Thermal Store
ECO ETS is a cylinder style stainless steel thermal store with a separate cold section – which can be supplied with an isolation kit and installed without a discharge overflow if preferred. The store is open vented at atmospheric pressure. The range includes 160 litre and 210 litre options.
Mains hot water is via an internal coil and, the company says, there is no need for relief valves, tun dishes or metal discharge pipes. The mains hot water delivery is suitable for one bath plus one shower from an overnight (off peak) charge.
The company recommends the ECO ETS range should be connected to low tariff supply and used during appropriate periods for maximum efficiency.
Heat pump cylinders
A new range of A Class heat pump cylinders will soon be available to the trade. Advance Appliances says that “at a time when most manufacturers offer C Class this represents a giant leap forward for the company and its customers.”
The heat pump cylinders are guaranteed for 25 years and the thermal store are guaranteed for 10 years. The fitted components are guaranteed for two years.
