On July 4th, nearly 200 tradeswomen gathered in Camden for WIT 2025 (Women Installers Together) — an event run by tradeswomen, for tradeswomen. WIT brings together women from across the skilled trades, supported by a number of sponsors.
Feedback from attendees at the event included comments such as: “My favourite event of the year”, and “just the right balance between relaxed and structured.”
Other reported comments included: “It holds different qualities for different people… suppliers need to see how important this is”, and “a wide range of trades, ages, and ethnicities. It was excellent.”
This year, instead of a keynote speaker with a prepared talk, TV presenter Konnie Huq joined WIT founder Hattie Hasan MBE for a candid conversation from the sofa.
The Roundtable Discussions included topics like self-care, setting boundaries with customers and family, and making space for rest. Sustainability was also a recurring theme, with strong interest in eco-friendly working and greener energy systems.

WIT is held during the first week of July every year. Next year the date for the diary is Friday, July 3rd, 2026.
