Megaflo has enhanced its range of Eco Direct and Indirect unvented hot water cylinders by introducing a series of upgraded features designed to improve both performance and manoeuvrability for installers.
Thanks to optimisation of the cylinders’ energy performance, Megaflo says its Eco Indirect 170, 210, 250 and 300 now boast up to 19% improvement in reheat time.
Following feedback from Megaflo’s installer base, the brand has also pinpointed a growing need for unvented hot water cylinders to be installed in hard-to-reach spaces such as lofts. In response, it has added a more robust handle to its range of Eco Direct and Indirect cylinders.
The company has also brought in a simplified warranty which now sees every product within the Megaflo range boast the same 30-year warranty for its inner tank and a two-year warranty on all other components.
Megaflo Eco cylinders deliver up to 76 litres of hot water per minute at three bar pressure, without the need for shower pumps or tanks. Meanwhile, its 60mm of CFC/HCFC-free injected foam and insulated T and P valves combine to ensure heat retention and energy efficiency.
Rob Pearse, Residential Sales & Specifications Director at Baxi, said: “Our constant focus on enhancing product performance is one of the main reasons why Megaflo cylinders have been relied upon by so many installers for so long. While these recent improvements to performance and movability may be incremental, the full line-up of Megaflo Eco features now stands out as one of the best on the market; ensuring installers need look no further for their hot water storage needs.”
