Baxi has launched a new range of Baxi direct and indirect hot water cylinders to complement the existing range from its Megaflo brand.
Designed and manufactured in the UK by the Heatrae Sadia hot water storage experts at Baxi, the new cylinders include options for heat only and system heating set ups.
Delivering up to 76 litres per minute of hot water at 3 bar pressure, the company says the new cylinders provide hot water performance without the need for additional shower pumps or tanks – even at low pressures.
The high-grade duplex stainless steel tank has been designed for a high corrosion resistance and strength to weight ratio, while the insulated T and P valve and 50mm injected foam insulation offers heat retention and energy efficiency. The direct and indirect models also feature an internal expansion with floating baffle, designed to provide neat and space-saving options for installers to offer customers and reduces overall installation time.
The company says the indirect models also boast a high performance ‘coil-in-coil’ heat exchanger, which provide fast recovery times.
Nick Platt, Commercial & Marketing Director at Baxi, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer our customers even more choice for their hot water heating and storage requirements. This first ever high performance range from Baxi opens up a cost-effective set of options that complements the high quality ranges from Megaflo that installers know inside out. Compatible with our complete range of system and heat only boilers, we are able to offer our installer network every suitable solution for different requirements and budgets.”
The range comes with a 25-year warranty on the inner tank and two-year warranty for all other components, subject to terms and conditions. All cylinders across the range are compatible with all system and heat-only boilers on the market, including those from the Baxi’s latest 600 and 800 ranges.
