If you’ve decided to use the downtime due to the Coronavirus outbreak to get a website sorted, then you might be interested in this offer from digital experts Shake and Speare, who specialise in getting tradespeople online.
The company is offering a basic one-page website – built and hosted on its servers – free of charge, on a first come, first served basis. You just buy the domain address (Shake and Speare can do this for you, it’s around £20).
This’ll be a quick start point for a tradesperson who doesn’t currently have an online presence – it’ll be a fast and speedy little site, it won’t rank high up on Google straight away (unless more work is put into it at a later date when your cash flow is better) but it’s a start.
The team has capacity to build four or five sites a week.
