As part of an extensive overhaul of its online presence, Mira has revamped the Expert Zone of its website.
The Expert Zone is designed to become an ultimate resource for the professional shower installer, being a knowledge hub that covers everything from installation step-by-steps and FAQs through to product data downloads and access to training. The zone is structured to accommodate Mira’s continuous addition of new content – whether the latest new product developments, technology introductions or customer service queries – meaning that the accumulated engineering expertise of decades will be available in one place.
The Step-by-Step section is currently home to 14 high-quality instructional videos covering some of the company’s most popular products: from the Mira Advance and Mira Go electric showers, to Mira Minilite and Mira Coda mixers. The videos are supplemented by Mira’s own YouTube channel, currently hosting over 120 films; many of which are being migrated to the Expert Zone.
The Product Guide area features handy downloads covering all Mira’s main groups – namely electric, mixer, power, digital and ‘inclusive’ showers; as well as trays, enclosures, bathscreens and brassware. It also includes content from group company Rada for non-domestic and commercial applications, such as clinical handwashing and communal showering. Category guides go through the main technical, planning and installation issues surrounding each generic type of shower.
The Product and Category guides are both backed up by detailed individual Product User Guides, which cover the installation and operation – to include troubleshooting – of every single product in the company’s range.
And for those rare occasions when things might go wrong, there is not only a dedicated section covering spares, but also the opportunity to purchase them online through a new e-commerce area which links to leading parts stockists.
Two training types can be accessed through the new Expert Zone: Community Housing Toolbox Training and the company’s Headstart programme. The Community Housing Toolbox Training recognises the special challenges facing those working in social housing, and is a dedicated scheme for professionals active in this environment to help with the installation and maintenance of the company’s showers.
The Headstart student training programme has been specifically tailored for further education establishments, and is designed so that they can work together with Mira to help support the next generation of plumbers and installers.
The Expert Zone is just part of a wider upgrade of Mira’s entire online presence, whereby the main website has been given a fresher, more contemporary look, combined with new, additional content and more intuitive navigation. This enables both homeowners and trade professionals alike to access product, stockist and technical information faster, more conveniently and easily.
