Helping installers level up their knowledge on system balancing, Drayton has launched its new Auto-balancing TRV training module, available through its free online training academy, 9° Know How.
This latest module, based on Drayton’s new Auto-balancing TRV, discuses why it’s important to have a balanced heating system, what a balanced heating system looks like, how balancing is achieved and how to fit the new Auto-balancing TRV. It also touches on the benefits of the new Auto-balancing TRV for the installer as well as their customer.
The launch of the new Auto-balancing TRV falls on the 30-year anniversary of Drayton’s iconic TRV4, with the product having evolved over the last three decades to align with market trends. Drayton has developed the range to include new colours with the launch of the TRV4 Chrome in 2002, the TRV4 White in 2013 and the anthracite TRV4 in 2020. The latest addition of the Auto-balancing TRV ties in with the focus of increasing energy efficiency within the home.
Clare Stevens, Trade Marketing Manager at Drayton, said: “Our TRVs are extremely popular within the industry and the launch of our new Auto-balancing TRV adds to this timeless product range. These TRVs have been designed to make the process of balancing super simple to help save installers time, and in turn, save their customers energy.
“To help installers make the most of our products, this training module will explain the importance of balancing – something that should be carried out as best-practice on every system –the range of products and how to fit and commission them, including how they work with Wiser Radiator Thermostats.”
Designed specifically for the UK residential market, Drayton’s new Auto-balancing TRVs look almost identical to the TRV4 and RT414. This new auto-balancing valve will fit directly onto standard pipe sizes without having to change a thing and are ideal for retrofitting if Drayton TRVs are already in-situ.
The 9° Know How online training academy is just one of many benefits of being a 9° Network member. Other perks include access to the discounted Drayton shop for limited special offers, 5-year extended warranties, as well as listings on both the Drayton and Wiser consumer websites. Featuring on the Find an installer section on both these websites will help generate leads to grow the installer’s business.
Further training modules covering the full range of Drayton heating control products will continue to be added to 9° Know How platform.
