PHPI has teamed up with Salamander Pumps to offer installers a chance to win an AquaScan digital water multimeter.
Getting accurate water measurements is hugely important in modern plumbing. It helps installers diagnose problems faster and choose the right solution first time, keeping systems running smoothly and customers happy.
Salamander Pumps’ AquaScan is a 4-in-1 digital water multimeter that measures water pressure, flow, temperature and hardness via total dissolved solids (TDS). This versatile device has been designed to help installers work more efficiently on-site, giving clear, reliable measurements and to quickly diagnose issues.
AquaScan attaches directly to a water outlet and is supplied with the necessary accessories to ensure simple setup and accurate measurement across a range of applications. The multimeter provides live readings for pressure, flow, temperature and hardness (via TDS), as well as showing ‘peak’ readings when taking a measurement to identify any fluctuations when testing.
The unit comes with a range of different connectors, hoses and adaptors to meet the requirements of the scenario at hand. The accessories allow installers to use AquaScan for common connections, such as garden taps, mixer taps, single taps, washing machines, as well as shower hoses and arms.
AquaScan is powered through an integral rechargeable battery that is charged via a USB-C cable which is supplied with the tool. The unit is built with a brass body, concealed in rubber casing. It comes with a IPX5 waterproof rating and a one-year warranty.
