The new DLX2549TJ 18V LXT® Brushless Twin Kit from Makita features the DHP492 Combi Drill, a high-torque DTD173 Impact Driver, two 5.0Ah BL1850B batteries and a DC18RC fast charger.
With a maximum torque of 141Nm, the combi drill features a compact and robust design and, according to the company, has been redesigned with a speed change mechanism to avoid gear disengagement. It also has enhanced electronic protection for tool overloads and trigger control along with a built-in LED light to improve visibility for dark and confined spaces.
The impact driver has four impact modes with up to 180Nm fastening torque and an electric brake for operator protection.
The kit also includes two 5.0Ah Li-ion batteries and a fast charger packed alongside the tools inside a 821551-8 Makpac Type 3 Carry Case.
