Taconova Heat Interface Units used at new Sheffield residential development 

Taconova UK, has supplied a new residential development in Sheffield with Heat Interface Units.  

‘The Ironworks’ features 144 one-bedroom apartments, 80 two-bedroom apartments, and five two-bedroom duplex apartments. 

Taconova UK was selected to design and commission decentralised Heat Interface Units to maximise sustainable heating technology. 

The official opening took place on Monday 18th September. The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Colin Ross, cut the ribbon on the new development and emphasised the importance of regeneration projects like The Ironworks.

Ralph Seewald, Managing Director Taconova Group AG, and Behfar Abedinia, Taconova UK General Manager, talked about how Taconova supports customers with sustainable heating technology, and provided more details about the TacoTherm H 3000E heating solution that is integrated within the development. 

“We’re thrilled to be celebrating the opening of the new Ironworks residential development in Sheffield,” said Ralph. “These luxury new apartments set the standard for sustainable accommodation in the city and promise to offer complete comfort for the new residents.” 

Behfar explained, “We’re delighted to work in partnership with Rise Homes on the development of this project. The TacoTherm H 3000E electronic heat interface units installed at the Ironworks are compact and provide highly efficient and convenient heating and comfort. Our collaboration with Rise Homes is a testament to our shared vision for a brighter, more sustainable future.”
