Heating and hot water solutions manufacturer, Navien UK, has unveiled its latest low carbon heating product, the Navien R290 Heat Pump.
The new R290 series features five models ranging from 4kW to 17kW.

The heat pump includes a SWEP plate heat exchanger, featuring corrugated plates that create hot and cold channels. The company says its design boasts a smaller carbon footprint and maximises material efficiency, with approximately 95% dedicated to heat transfer – enhancing energy efficiency, lowering operational expenses and creating low maintenance operations.
Sean continued: “Additionally, we’ve enhanced energy efficiency by integrating full DC inverter technology, enabling precise temperature control and seamless adaptation to changing conditions, ensuring consistent optimal performance.”
The unit features a smart touch display to provide homeowners with an interface which has been designed to simplify system control and monitoring.
