The design allows users to adjust the pliers with one hand, by sliding the lower jaw closed: the spring-loaded hinge bolt locks in place so there are no accidental adjustments, delivering a firm grip on pipes, nuts and fittings.
Forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and hardened through a multi-stage process, the Cobra ® VDE pliers provide a maximum grip width of 46mm and the ability to handle pipes up to 2 inches.
VDE-tested and rated for use on live parts up to 1000V, the Cobra ® VDE meets IEC 60900 / DIN EN 60900 standards. The insulated multi-component grips provide a secure, non-slip hold.
