Fernox rebrands packaging to include NSF logo

Following the acquisition of BuildCert by NSF International, Fernox has announced it will be changing the packaging of its inhibitors to incorporate the new NSF logo.

Plumbing and heating professionals will start to see the new branding on its products from 2020.

The phased rebrand of BuildCert to NSF International aims to expand the international recognition of products certified by the BuildCert team. While the BuildCert mark is well known in the UK, the NSF International mark is said to have greater recognition across the globe.

There will now be a transitional mark which will combine the BuildCert and CIA logos allowing the BuildCert mark to disappear gradually from product packaging.

Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox, said: “Plumbing and heating professionals can be confident that whilst the rebrand does affect the logo on the packaging, it does not affect the high-quality standards of the testing process for chemical inhibitors, which will not change.

“We would highly recommend that all professionals familiarise themselves with the new certification mark to ensure that the products they are recommending are fit for purpose.”

The products affected by the NSF rebrand will include: Protector F1; Protector F1 Express; Superconcentrate Protector F1; Filter Fluid+ Protector; Filter Fluid+ Protector Express and Protector MB-1.
