2017 marks a significant year for Drayton, as the company celebrates the 25 year silver anniversary of not one, but two of its leading products – the Lifestyle LP programmer and the iconic TRV4.
To celebrate the anniversary of these products, Drayton will be running a ‘Best of British Giveaway’, offering up a number of quintessentially British prizes, including the Lifestyle LP programmer and the TRV4 alongside things such as a classic roast dinner and fish & chips!
Drayton’s versatile Lifestyle LP programmers and TRV4 were introduced in 1992. Over the last 25 years, the company has sold over 16 million TRV4s and over 6.5 million LP programmers – all of which have been manufactured at its Plymouth factory site.
Both the LP devices and the TRV4 have evolved over the years, adapting to the changes in homeowner’s lifestyles and advances in technology, while retaining the features that they are renowned for.
In 2004 the LP was given a makeover, with a backlight, real time clock, and summer/winter change added. The LPSi was launched in 2005 bringing with it the Service Interval function that allows boiler service alerts to be set, then the LP Boost landed in 2010.
Similarly the TRV4 has developed over the last 25 years, with the product achieving an A-rating by TELL in 2012, and TRV4 White launched in 2013.
