Trappex has unveiled the Genesis Heat Pump Filter, which the company says has been designed specifically to meet the demands of modern air source and ground source heat pump systems.
Available in a 28mm size, the Genesis Heat Pump Filter addressed the challenges of sludge, scale, and magnetite build-up using advanced filtration technology, removing magnetic and non-magnetic particles to maintain system performance and longevity.
The filter features a brass body and comes with a 25-year warranty for peace of mind. The compact, lidless design eliminates the need for O-ring replacements, reducing maintenance costs. There is a powerful 10,000 Gauss Neodymium Magnet to capture magnetic debris, while additional filtration removes non-magnetic particles.
The company says the Genesis Heat Pump Filter has been specifically engineered to support the unique requirements of heat pump system with a 28mm full-bore valve design to maintain the required flow rates and ensures the system’s Coefficient of Performance (COP) is not compromised.
