PRODUCT FOCUS: Triton T30i and T30iR handwash units

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for more rigorous hygiene processes and frequent handwashing in the workplace, as well as in the home.

In response, Triton has introduced two new handwash units – the T30i and T30iR – to provide an improved offering for commercial environments.

In factories, offices, retail properties and workshops where hot water is not readily available from a stored supply and there are often space constraints to consider, installing an instantaneous water heater is a quick and easy way to help employees adhere to stricter sanitation procedures.

The T30iR model provides the additional benefit of infra-red motion sensors, allowing users to access water without touching the unit. This hands-free operation helps to prevent the spread of germs, and a timed shut down, plus seasonal temperature adjustment feature, minimises wastage.

The Triton T30i is a compact unit for fitting into small areas needing a source of instant hot water, whether adjacent to a toilet or within a simple store room. It includes a new nozzle designed to eliminate splashback, along with a 100 or 200mm swivel arm accessory, adjusting to any basin size.

Tina Simpson, Marketing Director at Triton Showers, comments: “At Triton we understand the importance of delivering water-heating solutions, whatever the size or scope of the setting. The upgrades we’ve made to these two models are borne out of real in-situ feedback from our customers, looking for neat and simple ways to address specific hygiene and space restrictions.

“We understand that returning to work post-lockdown is not without its challenges for any business, large or small. While a certain level of handwashing facilities may have worked before the pandemic, the current situation is much different. This requires companies to make adjustments to follow health and safety guidelines which will ensure employees feel sufficiently protected.”
