Continal Underfloor Heating’s OneBoard system is an in-deck, suspended floor solution that consists of a structural composite chipboard panel. The panel can be laid directly onto existing floor joists without the need for a sub-base, which helps to reduce floor build-up heights. The panel depth measures 22mm.
Each universal panel has a built-in heat dissipation foil for heat outputs of between 50W/m² and 65W/m², depending on the room temperature and floor covering. The product features pre-routed pipe channels at 150mm pipe centres and returns. The system also incorporates the flexible SUPERflex-12 underfloor heating pipe, which offers a bend radius of less than 100mm.
The company says that the system is suitable for use with all heat sources, joist types and centres and it is completed with a 6mm plywood capping layer and can be used with all floor coverings such as wood, marble, vinyl, carpet or laminate.
