Designed to help heating engineers deliver a safer, quicker and cheaper boiler flue installation, Baxi has launched a new Telescopic Internal Flue.
The company says the new Internal Fit Telescopic Flue and Elbow Kit makes a one-person fit from inside a property possible without the need for extra labour, ladders or crawling boards for high terminal points.
Available with a short (300-470mm) or long (420-690mm) length, the Telescopic Flue offers flexibility for a variety of wall thicknesses, while a patented multi lip rubber weather seal protects it from wind and rain by sealing the flue void from inside and negating the need to make good from the outside. White UV paint protection helps to protect any portion of the flue exposed through the property’s wall from UV degradation.
The latest kit
Each of the Telescopic Internal Flues is supplied as a kit, complete with a built-in flue elbow and test points. The flue can be fit directly and neatly onto the top of the boiler with no requirement for a vertical flue adaptor.
The launch of Baxi’s new accessory follows the recent introduction of its 600 and 800 Combi and System 2 boilers.
Nick Platt, Commercial & Marketing Director at Baxi said: “The launch of our new Internal Fit Telescopic Flue and Elbow Kit is the latest example of the commitment we have to making every boiler installation seamless for heating engineers.
“While a flue isn’t generally regarded as the most intricate component of a boiler installation, it can be quite complex to fit, especially at height, which is a challenge we wanted to help installers to overcome with our latest accessory. With the option of two different telescopic flue lengths, installers can use this product safe in the knowledge that they have the flexibility to achieve a safer, quicker and cheaper installation.”
