Daikin reduces the price of its Altherma 3 H HT Heat Pump

Daikin has dropped the price of its Altherma 3 H HT by 15% and the accessories have been reduced by 19%. The company says the move is to help support the roll out of heat pumps across the UK. It believes that the ‘significant price reduction’, coupled with the recent increase in BUS funding, makes the product ‘the natural choice for retrofit installations’.

The new Daikin Altherma 3 H HT has been designed to offer a consistent flow temperature of 70°C*, even in outdoor temperatures as low of -15°C. There are two indoor variants – either a floor standing or wall mounted units – and the unit comes pre-fitted with cloud and app control functionality for connectivity. Quiet Mark certified, it has a sound power of just 54 dB(A).

Hamid Salimi, Product Manager – Residential at Daikin UK said: “Not only is the Altherma 3 H HT incredibly versatile and flexible, but with the new lower price and the assistance of the BUS and HESS funding, our products have never been more attainable. It’s ability to operate at high temperatures and the fact that it can work effectively with existing radiators and pipework mean that it is the perfect solution for retrofits.”

*Sizes 8-12 offer a flow temperature of 65°C down to -15°C
