Seen in the bathrooms of many luxury hotels, fluted glass shower screens are the latest trend taking the design world by storm, says Frontline Bathrooms. Also known as rippled, reeded, or ribbed glass, could fluted glass be a ‘must-have’ feature for new bathrooms and bathroom renovations in 2025?
According to the company, fluted glass is both decorative and practical – the signature textured grooves cleverly reflect available light in a showering space, creating an invigorating and bright atmosphere. The ribbed nature of the glass can also provide an added layer of privacy.
Hayley Bowman, Marketing Manager at Frontline Bathrooms, said: “Fluted glass is an elegant feature that strikes the perfect balance between visibility and privacy, immediately creating visual intrigue in a space. Complimenting both modern and more traditional décor, vertical or horizontal flutes add dimension to a bathroom, giving the illusion of more space with clever light diffusion, making it the perfect addition for smaller bathrooms and ensuites.
“We are incredibly excited to introduce fluted glass shower enclosures to our product portfolio. The 3D, art deco inspired pattern of our fluted glass shower screens is only on one side of the glass, leaving the other side flat and smooth, ensuring an easier cleaning task for homeowners without distracting from the overall appearance.”
