Ariston has expanded its range of heat pump water heaters with the launch of its new R290 solution, the Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi.
The R290 heat pump water heater is an upgrade of the company’s existing Nuos Plus WiFi. The company says it offers greater efficiency, easier installation and a wider range of features to make it suitable for domestic and light commercial use.
Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi uses R290 refrigerant and offers an ultra-low GWP of 3, with an A+ energy rating and a COP of up to 3.51. The company says the Nuos S2 is ideal for new buildings and renovations, without the need for major structural modifications, thanks to the versatile outlet ducting.
The unit features full Ariston Net smart connectivity, offering customisable comfort options for the end user, remote monitoring and optional voice control.
The Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi operates at a noise level of 48 dBA, with the optional ‘Night’ function providing further acoustic comfort.
The range includes a sacrificial magnesium anode for maximum protection against corrosion and limescale, with added ‘Titanshield’ technology to prevent tank damage.
