Enhancing its range of heating systems, Worcester Bosch has launched the Greenstar 1000. The latest addition to its boiler range features much of the DNA found in the company’s well-known Greenstar range but at a lower price point. The company says the new solution has been ‘designed for consumers where price is their number one consideration’.
The market has changed due to the cost-of-living crisis and Worcester Bosch says that it has designed this ‘ultimate budget boiler’ with that in mind.
Worcester Bosch says that careful consideration has also been given to the installer, from the initial installation process to after service. The Greenstar 1000 has a one-box design and with its compact size it is suited for kitchen cupboard installations where space is at a premium.
It has been constructed to weigh 26kg making transport, mounting and installations convenient. The new boiler comes with a five-year guarantee.
Other Greenstar 1000 features include:
– Front panel access to all key components, including the primary heat exchanger, for easy installation and servicing.
– Hydraulic connections that are in line and 35mm from rear of appliance.
– Gas pipe tail is also provided to centralise the connection while the PRV is perfectly located for installer access.
– Rear spacer frame and vertical pre-piping kit options for quicker and neater installations (available Oct 23)
– Fan that delivers 30kW of hot water at up to 9m maximum flue length of 60/100mm.
– Fully integrated 230v controls compatibility and ‘easy to use’ main interface.
