Radiator manufacturer, Stelrad Radiators, has announced that its K3 radiators will be reduced in price by over 30% from 1st May 2023.
The K3 radiator range offers three panels and three sets of fins to increase the heating capacity of a radiator, with the same radiator footprint as a K2, by an additional 50%.
“Our K3 radiators have become hugely popular for all new heating systems powered by renewable heating systems – in particular the explosion of sales of air source heat pumps for both brand new homes and replacement heating systems in existing properties,” says Stelrad’s Head of Marketing, Chris Harvey.
He continued: “It’s clear that heat pumps will be paired with a large proportion of the heating systems installed over the next thirty years – its proven technology with vastly more installations in mainland Europe than we have seen so far in the UK, but with the Government looking to support the installation of heat pumps, and in recent research 70% of all heating installers in the UK looking for training to install heat pumps, the future for them in the UK is looking extremely bright as we continue the march towards Zero Carbon by 2050 or earlier.”
K3 radiators have only begun to feature in the UK in the last couple of years in any quantity. Stelrad initially offered just its Compact radiator in K3 format, but added three more of its radiators designs in a K3 option – its Elite radiators, its Compact with Style and its Planar designs.
