Martindale Electric has launched the EZ664 Socket Tester. The EZ664 has been designed to simplify the process of verifying socket safety and wiring integrity in both domestic and commercial environments. Its dual connection capability – through either a standard 13 amp plug or flying leads – makes it a versatile tool, suited for testing at light fittings, fused spurs, and terminals.
Equipped with two groups of tricolour LEDs, the EZ664 offers visual indications of wiring conditions, mains voltage levels, and earth loop impedance. Safety is further enhanced by the EZ664’s alert system, which notifies users of out-of-tolerance voltage conditions through both visual (LED) and audible (buzzer) signals, ensuring that dangerous electrical conditions are not overlooked.
Each Martindale EZ664 Socket Tester package includes the EZ664 Advanced Socket Tester, a TL207 Test Lead Adapter that converts a 13A plug to three 4mm jacks for connection to the tester, and a TL36 Test Lead, which is a 3-way flying lead with crocodile clips for connections at terminals and other non-standard test points.
