The Grant logo has been getting around quite a lot recently; both up in the skies at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and down on the ground with Bath Rugby Club and its new season kit. For those of you who follow the fast cars on the rally track, you may also have seen the Grant logo on display there too!
In mid-August, the British Rally Championship 2016 entered its penultimate race in Northern Ireland, where competitors took to the Ulster Rally. One of the drivers was Chris West, from C W Oil Services, whose car is being sponsored by Grant.
C W Oil Services is a Grant G-One Accredited Installer who is based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Chris is a keen rally driver who has enjoyed many successes over the years in competition. This year, Chris is participating in rallies which are taking place throughout the UK and Grant is pleased to support Chris and his team in its upcoming races.
Chris is racing in a Works Opel Adam R2 car and one of his first rallies was the BRC race which took place in Ulster. Chris will also be taking part in four further competitions including: Jersey Rally in October, the Rockingham Stages in December, Brands Hatch Stages in January (an event which Chris won last year), and finally the Epynt Rally in Wales which is also taking place in early 2017.
All of these events are being televised so if you enjoy watching car racing, look out for Chris competing on the tracks in his car which has been Grant branded.
