The Chief Executive of Capita, Andy Parker, is to step down later this year.
The company, which has revealed a fall in annual pre-tax profits of 33% and is set to drop out of the FTSE 100 following a sharp decline in its share price, has said he will step down once a replacement has been found.
Capita’s activities have been the focus of much anger in the heating industry recently, following the launch (and subsequent withdrawal) of CGCS.
According to the BBC, it has also been under fire over the way it collects the TV licence fee. It is reported to be under investigation by the corporation after allegations that its collectors targeted vulnerable people.
