The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors is giving away 100 training rewards worth £150 in 2020.
Part of APHC’s remit is to help industry professionals enhance and acquire new skills and the £150 training reward is designed to incentivise installers to do just that.
The reward programme is operated via registered charity, APHC Training Ltd, and will be running throughout 2020, so plumbing and heating companies can claim up to £150 towards the cost of a certificated training course completed through a recognised provider such as BPEC, City & Guilds, LOGIC Certification, NICEIC and all UKAS approved ACS providers.
There are 100 rewards available in 2020 which are limited to 25 rewards per quarter and one reward per company.
John Thompson, APHC CEO, commented: “I would like to stress that the training reward is available to all plumbing and heating companies, regardless of whether they are a member of APHC. Also, APHC Training Ltd will pay up to £150 towards any certificated training course and not just an APHC training course. There are no catches or obligations and any plumbing and heating company can apply for one reward per year.”
In order to receive the reward, companies are required to apply for the reward before completing the course and then once they have completed the course, they need to send a copy of the training course invoice along with the successful course completion certificate to APHC who will then pay for the cost of the course, up to £150, into the employer’s business bank account.
