It’s always been best practice to clean and flush systems for maximum performance when installing a new boiler, but the latest code of practice is designed to protect the whole central heating system. For heating engineers this means all boiler installations should have an in-line system filter fitted as standard. With the Intergas System Filter, when fitted at the same time as one of the company’s boilers, two extra years are added to the boiler warranty.
This high-performance filter, made in collaboration with Fernox, is said to optimise energy efficiency and longevity, and make compliance with BS 7593:2019 even easier. What’s more, it’s made entirely of nickel-plated brass and stainless steel and is built to last.
