Quality Plumber Week 2026: Celebrating the people behind the plumbing and heating industry

The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) is calling on everyone across the plumbing and heating industry to get involved in Quality Plumber Week 2026 (QPW26), running from 5th to 11th October, and help celebrate the outstanding work, dedication and professionalism of the people working across the sector.

Organised annually by APHC, Quality Plumber Week is a nationwide industry initiative that shines a spotlight on the positive work taking place across plumbing and heating. The campaign brings the industry together to recognise the expertise, professionalism and essential contribution that plumbers and heating engineers make to homes, businesses and communities every day.

A major part of this year’s celebrations will be the 2026 Quality Plumber Week Awards, recognising the dedication, skill and passion that plumbers and heating engineers bring to their work.

There are seven awards up for grabs, with each category sponsored by a leading name in the plumbing and heating industry.

– Sustainable Installer of the Year, sponsored by Resideo
– Caring for the Community, sponsored by BPEC
– Commitment to Training, sponsored by Altecnic
– APHC Installer of the Year, sponsored by Instantor
– Embracing Technology, sponsored by Hansgrohe
– Rising Star, sponsored by Premierline
– Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Champion, sponsored by Neomitis

Each award recognises a different aspect of excellence within the industry, from sustainability and community engagement to training, technical expertise, innovation and customer service. Award prizes are worth a minimum of £250 per category, alongside a glass trophy for the winners.

The campaign will also feature a programme of live webinars, hosted in partnership with Installer, Quality Plumbers, industry experts and leading manufacturers. Topics during the week include manufacturer training, artificial intelligence for tradespeople, digital water testing tools and improving efficiency through smarter van racking.

APHC is encouraging installers, manufacturers, suppliers and others across the industry to join the conversation throughout the week and share their Quality Plumber Week content and celebrations across social media using #QPW26.
