Ideal Heating has invited representatives from Macmillan Cancer Support to its headquarters to celebrate the milestone of £325,000 raised for the charity.
The heating manufacturer has raised funds for Macmillan since 2018, supporting the charity with its work to help people living with cancer and their families.
Ideal and its employees, alongside colleagues from sister companies within Groupe Atlantic UK and Republic of Ireland, have supported Macmillan through sponsored challenges, bake sales and other initiatives.
Miriam Moore, HR Director, Ideal Heating and Groupe Atlantic UK and Republic of Ireland, said: “Through our ongoing partnership with Macmillan, we’re very proud to be making a difference to the lives of so many people affected by cancer.
“We’re delighted to have reached the £325,000 milestone, but we’re not stopping there. Our colleagues continue to find new and more creative ways of raising money, which reflects the community spirit and ethos we have embedded within our business.”
Hannah Wragg, Macmillan’s Relationship Fundraising Manager, visited Ideal’s headquarters site in Hull to celebrate the latest fundraising milestone.
Hannah said: “Thank you so much to Groupe Atlantic for their dedication and commitment to supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and achieving the incredible milestone of raising £325,000.
“Whether this has been through Macmillan Mighty Hikes and Coffee Mornings, staff raffles, mountain climbs or head shaves, every little helps and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support to help us do whatever it takes to help people with cancer live life as fully as possible.
