Alpha has expanded its renewable heating technology range, introducing the Magis M Top, a monobloc air source heat pump designed for new build and retrofit residential properties.
The Magis M Top provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water and can achieve flow temperatures of up to 75°C. Using advanced inverter technology, the company says the system regulates its output in line with real-time demand to achieve maximum performance while minimising electricity consumption.
The air source heat pump uses R290, which has high thermal efficiency and a very low global warming potential.
“The Magis M Top gives installers a genuinely capable heat pump. It’s designed to perform across a wide range of homes and heating set ups, and to make the installer’s job as straightforward as possible. That’s the Alpha approach,” said Darran Smith, Technical Manager, Alpha.
Available in six versions with a range of outputs, the company says the system can be installed as a standalone unit, in a cascade as part of a centralised system or in combination with an Alpha boiler for hybrid solutions, offering installers greater flexibility in system design.
