Glow-worm has announced a new 12-month corporate sponsorship agreement with construction industry charity, Band of Builders.
The company says the move will give installers opportunities to help others in the trade and raise awareness of where to reach out should they need support themselves.
Band of Builders is a UK-registered charity that supports tradespeople, construction workers and their families during times of crisis. Alongside its 24-hour wellbeing and crisis support service, where construction workers can text BoB to 85258 for immediate, confidential support, the charity delivers rapid, high-impact home adaptation and renovation projects, mobilising the construction industry to support its own.
James Fowler, Marketing and Strategy Director at Glow-worm, commented: “While Glow-worm will always have installers’ backs through reliable products, expert support and access to training, we want to go further.
“Our partnership with Band of Builders allows us to extend that support to those in the construction industry who are facing both professional and personal challenges. By working together, we can help ensure more tradespeople know where to turn when times get tough, while also encouraging others to get involved and support this important work.”
Gavin Crane, CEO of Band of Builders, added: “We are delighted to welcome Glow-worm as a sponsorship partner for 2026. With demand for our services continuing to grow, it is vital that more companies across the industry work alongside us.
“Glow-worm’s support will help us extend the reach and impact of our work, ensuring more people within the construction community receive help when they need it most.”
