Dickies UKWOTY drives off with his prize

Kevin Skeith, a flooring specialist from Sleaford, recently rode off on his new Honda Crosstourer 1200cc bike after picking it up at Honda UK Racing in Louth on the 13th February.

Kevin, 39, won UK Worker of the Year 2016 in October after facing a panel of judges at the British Superbike finale at Brands Hatch.

Now in its seventh year, UK Worker of the Year is a competition run by workwear company, Dickies, to recognise and reward hard work, pride and dedication in the UK workforce. The competition is open to anyone over the age of 17 who works in the UK.

Kevin was joined by Rob Haines, Sales Director at Dickies and Honda Racing Manager Havier Beltran who also led a guided tour of the Honda Racing factory where the racing bikes are prepared.

Kevin said: “Winning the competition ahead of thousands of other worthy applicants is incredible. I’d like to thank Dickies for organising such a fantastic competition, and Honda for the incredible prize and the tour, as I’m a massive British Superbike fan.”

Rob Haines said: “We are delighted to present Kevin with his new motorbike. He was certainly a worthy winner in a tightly contested competition and I’m sure he will be a fabulous ambassador for UK WOTY.”

Havier Beltran added: “I’m extremely pleased for Kevin and very pleased he was able to come and collect his Honda Crosstourer 1200cc motorbike, all of us at Honda wish him all the best with his new bike. We think UK Worker of the Year is an excellent competition and we are proud to be associated with it.”
