Brymec opens new distribution centre

Brymec has increased its logistics capabilities with the opening of a new distribution centre near Stoke.

The 16,500 square feet site, based close to the M6 in Staffordshire, will increase Brymec’s stock storage capacity and ability to serve the north of England and the Midlands. Having this additional facility also means Brymec can offer its customers a greater choice of products on their next day delivery service.

Six new members of staff have been employed at the site, which has already completed the delivery of 4,100 orders to 3,715 sites across the UK.

Julie McLaren, Head of Customer Experience at Brymec, says: Brymec is here to help our customers, by providing better access to project critical products and systems, as and when they are needed on the project site.

“The site we have chosen is perfect for our needs and through working with the landlord it is tailor made for our requirements. It’s a great site near the M6 with exactly the right amount of space and centrally located for ease of access, and will be backed up by our accomplished team of drivers and warehouse operatives.

“If orders are placed in full before 5pm, they will be delivered to site the following working day, which is a crucial service for many of our customers and ensures we are best place to control and manage the direct delivery of products to construction sites.”

Brymec stocks and supplies a wide range of industry-approved products used across all building infrastructure systems from water supply and waste water management ranges through to insulation, HVAC and ventilation systems. It also manufactures a growing range of products.
