The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) has installed solar panels at its Head Office in Birmingham. The company says that with the installation of the solar panels, it has significantly reduced its reliance on non-renewable sources of energy.
“We are thrilled to be able to power our operations with clean, renewable energy,” said John Thompson, APHC’s CEO. “The installation of solar panels is a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint and making a positive impact on the environment. It is our hope that this move will inspire other businesses in our industry to take similar steps towards sustainability.”
The installation of the solar panels was completed by a member company of APHC, ASK Renewable Solutions Ltd.
Adam Killa, Director of ASK Renewable Solutions commented: “Electricity is now becoming the chosen solution for additional demands in our lifestyle. The introduction of Heat Pumps, Electric cars and the removal of fossil fuels means that the demand of electricity has increased significantly. Installing your own Solar PV panels can decrease the demand to purchase electricity, which includes bill savings and also reduces your carbon footprint. It was a pleasure working with the team at APHC installing the Solar PV system.”
