Warmflow introduces new online learning platform

To assist heating engineers in the installation, commissioning and servicing of its products, Warmflow has launched the Warmflow Connect Online Learning platform. PHPI spoke with the company to discover more.

Q. Why has the company developed the new platform?
Our team of in house, customer support experts are always on hand to answer any queries that our engineer customers may have and talk regularly to customers about installation, commissioning and servicing requirements. Many of the conversations they have had over the years are not new, and in many cases, similar in nature. As a result, we decided to pool together all the regular challenges our engineer customers face daily and create a suite of helpful videos addressing those challenges.

We believe in providing heating engineers across the country with the education they need to install our high-quality products to a high standard. Through the Warmflow Connect Online Learning platform, we will be able to educate our heating engineer customers on the benefits of fitting Warmflow, as well as providing energy and time saving tips for improved, sustainable installation practices which will benefit their customers in the long run.

Q. Does the new platform cover both the company’s liquid fuel boilers and heat pumps?
The plan is that the new Warmflow Connect Online Platform will be continually updated as we develop new products and new ways of working. It will provide technical educational opportunities for all products manufactured by Warmflow. This will include Warmflow’s Agentis Liquid fuel boiler range, Zeno Renewables Range and Nero Hot Water cylinder range. We will be covering topics such as running your Agentis liquid fuel boiler on HVO and installation, commissioning and servicing tips for our Zeno renewables range.

Q. What kind of content will installers find on the platform?
Over the past 50 years since Warmflow entered the market we have amassed a tremendous amount of experience in the manufacture, installation and maintenance of home heating appliances. We have pooled the experience and expertise of our inhouse technical team as well as feedback from our many heating engineer customers and the Warmflow Online Learning platform will showcase this experience through a host of videos and written content which contains tips, training, walkthroughs and much more.

The content will no doubt change over time as we develop new products and new practices as well as addressing specific customer requirements through feedback.

Q. Do installers need to sign-up for the online learning platform?
Yes, installers will need to create an account to access the platform. This will allow us to gauge the level of content required on the platform. Additionally, we will be able to converse with those who have signed up to understand what additional content they would like to see. What do they want help with as well as providing an opportunity for constructive feedback on product development, training requirements plus anything else that is relevant to improving together in partnership.

Q. What additional information can installers expect to find on the platform over time?
In time, the Warmflow Connect Online Learning platform will develop into a place where installers can go to brush up on technical knowledge, get installation tips and quickly solve faults without having to call our service department. In the future the platform will develop into a catalogue of helpful videos which will provide heating engineers with all the information they need to successfully install and maintain Warmflow appliances. Additional information will include product walkthroughs, installation tips, technical how to videos and much more.

Q. What other training and technical support is available to installers from Warmflow?
Training and knowledge sharing with our heating engineer customers is of paramount importance to us. We value our customers and strive to work in close partnership to ensure homeowner customers have a good installation experience and can enjoy a warm and cosy home for many years to come.

We offer a range of free, all-inclusive training for heating engineers across the UK & Ireland. We have a number of training schools across the UK where any of our heating engineer customers can come along to a training session and learn more from one of our support experts about Warmflow products, installation, commissioning of liquid fuel boilers, air source and ground source heat pumps.

We also offer a free design service for air source heat pumps as well as free assisted set ups for customers new to renewable energy or simply new to Warmflow Zeno air source heat pumps.
