Werner has launched a versatile step ladder, which is available in two sizes. The new additions are made from non-conductive fibreglass stiles that are resistant to weathering.
Safety was a top priority in the design of AdjustaStepPRO. Mark Robson, Product Manager for Werner, commented: “The ladder incorporates an ergonomic rear section that is easily adjustable using one hand. This enables fast adaptability and flexibility to cope with a variety of challenging worksite environments.
“AdjustaStepPRO has been designed for safe use on uneven ground, steps and stairs; meaning professionals only need one ladder for use on multiple surfaces. Available in six and eight tread sizes, wide heavy-duty slip-resistant treads provide both comfort and safety with a generous 298mm tread pitch.
“The six tread ladder provides a safe working height of 2.59m, whilst the 8 tread version provides a higher working height of 3.15m.”
The product is certified to the latest EN131 standard and can take a maximum load of 150kg. Other features include a HolsterTopTM which enables tools and materials to be held securely. Available optional extras, which are compatible with all fibreglass ladders, comprise a utility bucket, job caddy and paint cup.
Mark Robson adds: “The EDGE moulded Brace System provides superior strength and base protection and is compatible with the Werner Lock-In System to expand the work surface and to secure tools.”
