Stuart Turner has unveiled an expansion of its WRAS Approved STORMBOOST mains boosting pump range.
Many properties struggle with mains water pressure that barely meets minimum standards – impacting everything from combi-boiler performance to shower power.
Stuart Turner’s original STORMBOOST pump offered a solution, boosting pressure by up to 2.5 bar and featuring a patented bypass that prevents flow restriction at higher mains pressure.
Now, to meet demands for even greater flow, Stuart Turner has introduced the STORMBOOST 60, 80, 100, 200, and 300 models. These additions incorporate an integrated water storage pressure vessel, allowing for sustained high flow rates.

These new models deliver up to an impressive 3.2 bar of pressure and flow rates of up to 27 litres per minute for peak demand, ensuring multiple outlets can be used simultaneously without compromise. This is a game-changer for homeowners and installers seeking reliable and robust water pressure throughout their property.”
The company says the new units have been designed for easy, direct-mains installation, with the 60 and 80-litre models fitting into standard kitchen base units, and larger capacities (100, 200, 300 litres) suitable for utility rooms.
Mark added: “There are many factors that can impact water pressure at any given time. While it is largely dependent on the height of the outlet above pavement level, it can also be impacted by the time of day, the size of your service pipe, and whether it is shared with neighbours. In areas of water stress in particular, low or intermittent mains water pressure often impacts the performance of combination boilers and showers.
“Another key factor is the amount of water being consumed in your area at peak times and in some areas, seasonal factors such as the use of water in tourist locations will also have an effect.
“If you think that your water pressure is too low, your water supplier will investigate free of charge and provide advice on what you need to do. However, even when the water pressure at pavement level meets the water supplier’s service agreement, you may still experience problems, which is where solutions such as STORMBOOST can help.”
